Fellow Competitors:
I want the thank those that attend out first shoot at Dietzville on Saturday. The weather was comfortable to say the least, but the wind was a bit more that we had expected. After all, we all believe the Weather Man. don't we? Switchy winds did most of us in. Mackey Locklin took the event, while David Schmidt and Les Williams finished 2 and 3. While only eight competitors took part, we still had fun. I would like to thank the two area MD's that supported the shoot. We had hoped there would be more, but I'm sure they had more pressing engagements to attend. All we can do, it attend as many of their shoots we can to show our support for Benchrest in the area. And while you are there, thank the Match Director for providing you with another venue close to home.
Now on to the next event. Boerne Shooting Club, has a Tournament and club event next Saturday,April 3rd, so make your plans to attend. Buy the way, it's alway a help to the MD's, to know who is going to attend so they can plan their awards and food for the event. Check out the ARA web site for their start time.
